Merzuka Imrahor as a designer, opened her design studio and furniture/fabric shop IMRAHOR in Istanbul in 1997 after living and studying in Paris at the famous L’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. She and her team of interior decorators, architects, and project managers both are equally at ease to carry out any type of project from initial planning to final implementation. Apart from complete projects she also gives consultancy for some conceptual designs.
She’s
focusing on high-end projects such as luxury hotels, private luxury residences
and yachts all around the world.
Her
customers are all high-end individuals and families from Turkey and abroad.
All
of her projects have unique and innovative design solutions for any type of
outfit.
One
of her primary responsibilities as interior designer and decorator is to focus
on all of the key elements in the project space. The next step is to create a
functional environment in each of these elements that optimizes space and
finally, create a unique design solution that relates to client’s vision while
maintaining a balance between functionality and esthetics.
Her
design approach concentrates in mixture of French, Ottoman and far-east
eclectic style that is to be combined with the contemporary materials and
design. She uses also antique accessories, wallpapers and fabrics to give an
elegant touch to atmospheres that she created.
She’s
developing now an international practice with the haute couture of the design
world. Her knowledge of craftsmanship, her attention to details is bringing
Imrahor as a reference in the luxury design world.
